My son turned 13 and we got him this scooter to ride around the neighborhood. I didn't think anything could peel him away from his video games and want to go outside again, this did the trick. When I asked him how his first ride around the pond was, he said "it was exhilarating", LOL. We love that it folds up and becomes easy to carry, even up and down our stairs. It holds quite a charge, and he really enjoys how much it lights up in the dark (I love that too for safety). It rides surprisingly well over the grass too, which is cool. Very happy with our purchase so far!
