Just what I thought it would be. Great!
Had the Gotrax Apex electric scooter previously and I recently sold it to purchase this. The KS4 Pro is faster, has better handling, and climbs the hills more efficiently. Overall, it's just better in all aspects. The 500W motor is definitely an upgrade to the 350W one in the Gotrax. Also, the display is very visible--even in direct sunlight. Finally, it's worth noting that the solid honeycomb tires are surprisingly comparable to pneumatic tires in terms of shock abrasion. I thought these tubeless tires would be a lot more bumpy, but the ride is very smooth on most surfaces. This scooter is worth every penny!
Bought a few other popular brand electric scooters from big box stores and was very disappointed in the quality build and overall performance of those for the price. Needless to say, I returned those disappointing scooters and began searching the web. I came across Hiboy and from the great reviews and holiday deal of the refurbished models, I figured i'd take a chance. Upon receiving the refurbished KS4 Pro I was very impressed with the quality and finish. Couldn't even tell this unit is refurbished. It looks and feels like new and is nicely built and a solid scooter. The 500watt motor is powerful and rolls out so much better than the previous scooters i had wasted time buying. My daughter is totally happy and enjoying the options and speed of this scooter. She likes that she can ride into the night time hours and bee seen.
