Hiboy VE1 Pro Battery

This battery is not large and heavy like other more long distance scooters. And that is good, because it makes the scooter lighter. Yet, it seems impressive to me that I can ride full speed for 1.5 hours on a charge - that is my estimate. I know for sure that I can do this for 1.25 hours - that I have done. I have 1,000 miles on my VE1 Pro so far. I have never replaced the battery, but I also do not know how to remove it. It appears to be glued down. If so, how do I safely remove it?
