I purchased this scooter and am SO INCREDIBLY HAPPY WITH IT!!! I use to have to walk about 30-45 minutes to work, now I ride this scooter and on a day with no traffic preventing me from crossing the road I can get to work in 5 minutes!!! I love the seat & the basket. It's so handy and helps if I have a few personal items to transport or need to pick up some things at the grocery store. Everytime I go anywhere on it someone asks about Hiboy, price, etc. I'm happy to share any information I can. I suggest and recommend them to anyone that shows even the slightest interest. I bought the 2 years of insurance for it just in case anything needs fixing/replacement /etc. help. I had a different brand standing only scooter with small hard tires. It handled crappy. This one with it's larger tires handles SO WELL. I was in an incident in 2022 on the other brand scooter and we don't know if I blacked out while riding or if I was attacked. It looked like I was hit in the eyebrow with a baseball bat (which happened to me at 8 years old, so I know what the injury looks like.) This newer scooter is so incredible. I love where it rains a lot too, and though it's not meant for the rain it's done pretty well. I usually let it dry before charging it. I generally don't even have to leave it charging but a couple hours before it's fully charged. I'm careful about covering the charger hole before I venture out into possibly inclimate weather. If I'm not using the basket I fold it down immediately as it tends to rattle around too much if empty. After cruising to work I don't have to even charge it while I'm at work, ride home, and it's still has a decent amount of charge to it after riding to and home from work. Sometimes I even cruise to the grocery store, or a couple stops before coming home. This scooter was an awesome purchase and I'm so so so happy that I did!!! I'm a 42 almost 43 year old female, 5'1" weigh about 120-130. I usually get assistance from my boyfriend with getting my scooter up and down off our staircase deck, simply as it's awkward for my size. Other than that I can deal with it great. I use the seat and basket regularly. I generally keep it at 3rd gear and cruise pretty fast on it usually. I generally use it at about 15-20 mph.
